The client was operating 45 physical locations across Catalonia and Southern France using legacy desktop POS software disconnected from their central warehouse. Store managers were synchronizing end-of-day stock via manual Excel sheets, causing a devastating 12% inventory discrepancy rate, oversold online items, and severe delays in quarterly Spanish VAT (Modelo 303) calculations.
We scrapped their legacy modules and engineered a centralized cloud ERP from the ground up. Utilizing WebSocket bi-directional syncing, every scan at a physical cash register instantly deducts stock from the central PostgreSQL database within 0.18 seconds. We integrated automated barcode generation, multi-tier staff permissions, and native direct electronic invoicing to the Spanish tax agency.
